Gifts for aged people with disabilities


Within the scope of the charity program of Araratian Patriarchal Diocese “We are Equal”, on the International Day of the Disabled a number of donations were organized. Packages of clothing and domestic appliances were distributed to the Arabkir community’s elderly people of with disabilities.

Two-language edition of Tekeyan’s“Selected Poems” published

Episcopal Ordination in the Mother See


On November 16, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Episcopal ordinations and consecrations were held. Rev. Fr. Narek Berberyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Brazil, Rev. Fr. Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Canada and Rev. Fr. Vardan Navasardyan, Director of the Christian Education Center of Mother See were ordained by the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

Press conference: school subject of Armenian Church History and the Armenian Armed Forces Chaplaincy

New Manuscripts to Matenadaran


The Manuscript Museum (Matenadaran) of Mashtots in Yerevan was replenished with yet another high-value donation. Boston-based family of Ghrdians brought 5 penned manuscripts and more than 150 volumes of ancient printed books. Ghrdian sisters thus fulfilled the dream of their brother Ruben Ghrdian who passed away young.
