With the blessing of His Holiness and the support of the Armenian Diocese of Canada, the sergeant will leave for Canada to receive the necessary treatment and high-quality prosthetics.

The Gevorgian Theological Seminary of Holy Etchmiadzin is the only Theological University operating in Armenia. In 2002, by the decision of the Government of Armenia, the Gevorgian Theological Seminary was recognized as a higher educational institution, and since 2005, taking into account the quality of the educational programs, the seminary was granted a higher educational institution license. In 2016, for the first time in the history of the Seminary, a post-graduate classroom was opened, where both people with a spiritual degree and secular people can be admitted.

Feast of Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the Diocese of Gugark


On the Feast of Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the residents of the city of Vanadzor gather around the St. Grigor Narekatsi Church and, led by their spiritual pastors, participate in the city-wide cross procession. The founder of the tradition is the late Archbishop Sepuh Chuljian, in 2015 he declared the Feast of Exaltation as the day of blessing of the city of Vanadzor.

Saint Thaddeus Church of Shirak Garrison was Consecrated

Alan Hovhannes' work "Sacrament of the Martyrs" was performed in Armenia for the first time


The "Sacrament of the Martyrs" concert took place at the "Narekatsi" Art Union with the participation of Ter Hovhan Leon Khoja-Eynatian and the "Yerevan" String Quartet. American-Armenian composer Alan Hovhannes' composition "Sacrament of the Martyrs" was performed in Armenia for the first time.
