This year marks the 90th anniversary of Yuri Davtyan, Honored Conductor of Music and People's Artist of Armenia. For 50 years of his life he was the conductor of the Opera and Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan, of which he was the chief conductor for 20 years. He was the founder and conductor of the Armenian Television and Radio Symphony Orchestra. Yuri Davtyan currently teaches at the conservatory and conducts the orchestra of the Paronyan Musical Theater. The distinguished musician hosted our film crew.
