The TV series authored by Artak Gnuni, PhD in History, archeologist, present the story of 1700 years old Armenian Apostolic Church. The “History of  Nation” by the Archbishop Malakia Ormanian serves as the basis of scenario. First part of the TV series presents the entry of Christianity to Armenia, the activities of Apostles and Thaddeus and Bartholomew and the story of the establishment of first Christian congregations in Armenia. Second part features the life of St. Gregory the Illuminator (Lusavorich), the founder of the Armenian Church, a most prominent national and public figure. Part three presents the story of St. Hripsimean Virgins on the basis of archaeological surveys. The chronology of events takes us to nowadays. 

History of Nation


The TV series presents the history of the Armenian Church. The subject of Part A is the spread of Christianity in Near East, Armenian Mesopotamia (King Abgar) and in very Armenia (preaching of Apostles Thaddeus and Bartholomew). The TV series are run by the author Artak Gnuni, PhD in History, archeologist.
