Due to the epidemic and war, the Gospel of Shurishkan was not taken out for two years. This year the day of the Gospel covenant was April 24, the Gospel remained in the St. Gevorg church in Mughnu until the evening.

Fifth Sunday of Great Lent- Sunday of the Judge


The message of the day teaches us the parable of the widow and the Judge which exhorts us to continually pray. This year it was commemorated on March 27. Under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Sunday liturgy was offered in St. Gayane Monastery. The Celebrant was Rev. Fr. Adam Makaryan. The members of the Union of Judges of the Republic of Armenia also attended the liturgy.  At the conclusion of the liturgy, they were hosted by the Catholicos of All Armenians.
