On October 12, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, arrived in Geneva to participate in a charity event organized by the Red Cross and to preside over celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the founding of St. Jacob Church. On the same day, the Pontifical delegation attended the 2019 Swiss Red Cross charity events. The event was also attended by the RA Prime Minister's wife Anna Hakobyan. The next day, the Catholicos of All Armenians celebrated a Divine Liturgy at the St. Hagop Church in Geneva. October 14 was the birthday of national benefactor John Kyurkchyan, on that occasion a requiem service was held in St. Gayane Church, presided over the Catholicos of All Armenians.
On October 12, the feast of the Holy Archimandrite Mesrop Mashtots, Sahak Partev and their students was celebrated in the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia.
