On November 3, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin celebrated the 20th anniversary of the consecration and enthronement of the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II. The Brotherhood of the Mother See, the primates of the dioceses, the benefactors of the Mother See and many pilgrims were attending the Divine Liturgy in the St. Gayane Monastery. A patriarchal prayer was made at the end of the liturgy. By the will of His Holiness, there will be no celebrations on the anniversary days. The twentieth anniversary of the enthronement will be celebrated next year, when large-scale renovation of the Mother Cathedral of Etchmiadzin will be concluded.
