The walls of the Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan have been decorated with the "Glory of Armenian Literature" mural since 1961. Considered one of the best works of Armenian monumental art of the 20th century, this mural needed to be restored. The Diocese of Aragatsotn addressed a problem to President Armen Sargsyan, with the help of which the restoration work began.
