Marine Deinyan's jubilee night in Opera Theatre


On March 5, the jubilee night of the RA Merited Artist, soprano Marine Deinyan was organized in Opera Theatre. Preludes, arias and duets from Bellini, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and other composers were heard. The stage was hosted by the Symphonic Orchestra of Opera Theatre headed by Harutyun Arzumanyan.

Legendary Polish conductor Antoni Wit is in Armenia


Famous Polish conductor, winner of Grammy, Emmy awards, Canne’s Classical Award Antoni Wit arrived in Armenia for the first time. On March 16, the conductor's platform of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia was used by Antoni Wit.
 

Six musicians on the background of city


Photographer, film director, poet Tatyana Danilyants is in Yerevan again: a city that stole her heart right after her first visit. Subsequently, the film “Six musicians on the background of city” was created, where six musicians talk and sing about their favorite city Yerevan. 

The training of brass instrument player musicians was finalized with meeting-concert


Individual and group training courses were organized for the brass instrument player students of several music schools in Yerevan. Three-year training of musicians was completed on February 22 with a meeting-concert.

Italian conductor and viola player performed jointly with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia


On March 2, the stage of Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall hosted the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia. The conductor platform was engaged by Pier Carlo Orizio. One of the best violists of Italy Luca Ranieri was in Armenia for the first time.

Hover State Chamber Choir is 25 years old


On September 25, Hover State Chamber Choir celebrated the 25th anniversary of its establishment.  The fans of Choir art enjoyed classic and contemporary compositions of Armenian and foreign composers in Opera Theatre. The songs by Steve Wander and The Beatles were presented in a new and interesting manner. 
 

“KIN” Women's International Film Festival finalized the outcomes


This year, “KIN” Women's International Film Festival was held from November 14 to 18. Out of 500 applications only 60 films were selected. The movie fans were given the opportunity to watch British and Canadian festival films. 

Divine Liturgy of Tearnyndaraj in Arabkir newly constructed church


On February 14, to mark the coming of Tearnyndaraj, a Divine Liturgy was offered in Arabkir. This was the second Divine Liturgy offered in Arabkir newly build church. The Church already hosts different ceremonied, including masses and Liturgies. The consecration ceremony will be organized soon.
