As per the statistics of 2015, over one billion in the world and 195,000 persons in Armenia, according to official data, have disability. Every year, December 3 marks the International Disablility Day. Replications of two famous khachkars (cross-stones) in Western Armenian were installed in Holy Etchm


Replications of two famous khachkars (cross-stones) in Western Armenian, weighing 12 and 14 tones, were installed in Holy Etchmiadzin adjacent to Yeremian cells of the Mother See and overlooking Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Library. The consecration of these khachkars dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide will be made by the Patriarch of All Armenians, on September 28, following the blessing of Holy Muron.
