The 30th anniversary of priestly ordination and the 20th anniversary of Bishopric ordination of Bishop Sebouh Chouldjian was celebrated in Gugark Diocese. 
The Christian Education Center of the Mother See organized a lesson-event in Arabkir Armenian Youth Center dedicated to the life and activities of Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians.
This year Lusine Zakaryan would  turn 80: the concert night “With Memories” held on December 12 was dedicated to the jubilee of the singer. 
Bishops’ Council of the Russian Church conceded the appeal of the Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on recognizing the Ukrainian Diocese as independent.

By the presidency of Catholicos of All Armenians, Pomegranate blessing ceremony on the New Year eve has become a tradition.  This year too, after the thanksgiving prayer, a pomegranate blessing ceremony was held in the Mother See and all Armenian Apostolic Churches.

Gifts of New Year and Christmas in Vanadzor. Ahead of Christmas and Holy Resurrection feasts, a tradition has been established in Gugark Diocese to present gifts to socially insecure and multi-children families.

The state of San Luis in Argentina has recognized the Armenian Genocide.
On November 26, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received Mr. Roni Ari Nakhally the president of the University of Lebanon and University of California and Dr. Yoland Salim University Program Director.
The students of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary were in Byurakan on November 24 and also visited Victor Hambardzumyan's house-museum.
On December 2, the Commemoration of Thaddeus and Bartholomew is the Feast day of The Holy Lance “Geghard”.
That day, The Holy Lance will be brought to the Cathedral.

On December 8, at the G. Sundukyan Theater, the ceremony dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the spiritual leadership of the Armed Forces was launched.
Upper prayer houses of Horomayr St. Nshanvanakan Complex were re-consecrated. 
In the village of Diliska in the Akhalkalaki region a cross stone (khachkar) was erected to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Opening of 6th Armenia-Diaspora Conference. 
Catholicos of All Armenians  received Garo Paylan, Armenian MP of the Turkish Parliament. 
A two-day conference was organized in Moscow dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the establishment of Russian and Nor Nakhichevan Armenian Diocese.  
After Khachverats the Armenian Church commemorated the deceased. 
Khachverats is celebrated by Vanadzor as the blessing day of the city.
