Ռումինիայի հայոց թեմը. անցյալը և ներկան


Հայերը Ռումինիայում հաստատվել են 10-րդ դարից: Առաջին մեծ շարժը դեպի այս երկիր տեղի է ունեցել հայոց Բագրատունյաց թագավորության անկումից հետո: Բազմաթիվ հայեր Ռումինիա են եկել Ցեղասպանությունից հետո: Ռումինահայերի մի մասը 17-րդ դարում ընդունել է կաթոլիկություն: Նրանք հաստատվել են երկրի արևմտյան շրջանում` Տրասիլվանիայում: Առաքելական հայերն ապրում են Ռումինական Մոլդովայի և Վալախիայի մարզերում: Այսօր Ռումինիայում գրեթե 5000 հայ է բնակվում: 16 հայկական եկեղեցի կա, երկու վանք, 8 մատուռ, գերեզմանատներ և հայկական բազմաթիվ այլ կառույցներ: Թեմում սպասավորում է 6 քահանա: Առաջնորդը Տաթև եպիսկոպոս Հակոբյանն է: Հաղորդումը պատմում է թեմի անցյալի և ներկայի մասին, անդրադառնում առաջնորդարանի ծրագրերին, ռումինահայերի խնդիրներին ու ձեռքբերումներին:

Եկեղեցին և Ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը


Ամեն տարի՝ ապրիլի 24-ին Հայ եկեղեցու մատուցվում է հատուկ Պատարագ: Այդ օրը հայ ժողովուրդն աղոթում է, որ ոչ մի տեղ այլրս չկրկվի նման ողբերգություն:
Ըստ Մովսես եպսկ Տեր-Մովսիսյանի կազմած ցուցակի՝ Եղեռնի ժամանակ թուրքերը ոչնչացրել են 22 հազար հայկական ձեռագիր: Հայոց մեծ ջարդին նահատակվեց 4000 հայ հոգևորական:
Համատարած մղձավանջի մեջ բոլորն իրենց հույսը կապում էին Մայր հայրենիքի, կաթողիկոսի միջամտության հետ: Գևորգ 5-րդ կաթողիկոսին վիճակված էր հայ ժողովրդին առաջնորդել ամենամռայլ մի ժամանակաշրջանում: Տարագիր հայությունը հավաքվեց եկեղեցու շուրջ: Հայահավաքն ու հայության կյանքը կազմակերպելը դարձավ Հայ եկեղեցու հիմնական առաքելությունը: Տարբեր երկրներում ապաստան գտած հայությունը եկեղեցական կառույցների միջոցով բողոքի ձայն էր բարձրացնում: Իսկ Խորհրդային Հայաստանում Ցեղսպանության մասին խոսքն ընկալվում էր որպես հայկական ազգայնամոլության քարոզ ու արգելվում:
1955թ. կաթողիկոս ընտրված Վազգեն Ա-ի գլխավորությամբ եկեղեցին քայլ առ քայլ նվաճում էր Եղեռնի մասին Խորհրդային հայաստանում հրապարակային խոսք հնչեցնելու իրավունքը: 1965թ. Հաայստանում առաջին անգամ պետականորեն նշվեց Եղեռնի 50-ամյակը: Մայր Աթոռում կանգնեցվեց հուշարձան:

Triamphant Church


On April 23, 2015, canonization ceremony for the victims of the Armenian Genocide took place at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. For the last 400 years, no canonization ceremony was ever held in the Armenian Church. The Bishops Congregation restored the procedure of collective canonization. Bishops of Armenian Church, composer Yervand Yerkanyan, leaders of Christian sister cities, high ranking officials and representatives of Catholic and Orthodox churches tell about the process of restoring canonization procedure and this historic ceremony.

Life is a Fairy-Tale

Hakob lost his eyesight at ten. Today he is 33 years old. He went through hardships, especially psychological one. He met priests who could change his attitude to life. Presently Hakob lives with full life – he rides a bicycle, trains horses, plays table tennis. He works in the House of the Union of the Blind as a teacher of computer courses. His wife Henrietta and daughter Arpi are next to him. “Look dad, touch my dress, see what a nice dress I have: this is how Arpi learned to communicate with me, and I have learned to communicate with the world.”

Ruined Pilgrimages of Odzun


Odzun village is one of the most ancient residencies of Armenia. The churches and monastery complexes – Tsakhkevank, Horomayr, Ardvi, St. Hovhan Odznetsi pilgrimage, that are found in this area come to prove, that for centuries, Odzun served as the religious-cultural center of the region. Unfortunately, most of the pilgrimages of Odzun are ruined.

Saint Barbara


The first three centuries of Christianity are distinguished with prosecutions of Christians. The year 303 becomes a turning point when Christianity becomes prohibited under the edict of the Roman Emperor Diocletian and the prosecutions become even more intense. Young Barbara’s father, a state official, not only leads her, the new convict, to the court, but also asks to fulfil her martyrdom personally…
Barbara’s relics are scattered around the world, and powerful pilgrimages are built on these. The most famous pilgrimage of Saint Barbara in Armenia is the pilgrimage Tsakhkevank built on Mount Ara.
