On March 27, the World Theatre Day, Artavazd Theatrical Awards ceremony was held in Armenia.
The readers were handed the best 13 plays in one book that were competing in the drama contest “Levon Shant” announced by the All-National Armenian Educational and Cultural Union.
A full-length film of film director Marine Zakaryan “Crescent Bay” based on the works of William Saroyan has been released.

On March 13, 117th anniversary of Yeghishe Charents was marked. The day-time event organized at the Museum of the writer underscored the role of Komitas and Yeghishe Charents, the two pillars of the Armenian culture, in the life of Armenian nation.
An auditorium after Stepan Poghosyan, historian, state and cultural figure, was set up in the Pedagogical University.
The performance list of Russian Drama Theatre after Stanislavski was supplemented with new play. The author of the play “Like Gods” is Yuri Polyakov, renowned Russian playwright and screenwriter.
