Cultural poster 24.06.2013Spanish writer Gonzalo Guarch has authored a trilogy on the Armenian Genocide. Two of his books were translated into Armenian and published. On June 20 the presentation of the books in AYB school took place. The letters, paintings and poetic verses of Artavazd Tumanyan, son of the All-Armenian Poet, compiled in one book. The second book of the series “Sons of Tumanyan” was published. The novel “The Bastard of Istanbul” brought its author Elif Shafak to stand in front of the court in 2006. On June 20, in Bureaucrat Bookshop the discussion of the book took place. What was the quest of Harutyun Kalents in his creations on the brink of 1960-s? The exhibition of Harutyun Kalents “Harutyun Kalents: Color inside the Form” was opened in Gafesjian Center for the Arts. Cultural poster 17.06.2013“120 minutes with Mikhail Zhvanetsky": Mikhail Zhvanetsky first time performed his new humoristic program in Yerevan. Yerevan saw June 13 as dedicated to the writer, journalist, Sergey Dovlatov. From June 1 to November 24, Armenia participates in 55th International Biennale of Venice presenting Ararat Sarkissian's “Tale of David the Lad and Khandut the Lass”. From June 13 to 16, annual meeting of young Armenian writers was held in Tsaghkadzor Writer’s House. This year our writers were accompanied by their pen friends from Georgia and Estonia. On June 12, the one-show exhibition of Yuri Gorbachev was opened in Yerevan. In National Center of Aesthetics hosts personal exhibition of one of the most vivid representatives of painting and graphics, Albert Hakobyan. A performance without having any written and elaborated script. Moscow Theatre “School of Modern Play” is in Armenia. On June 15, the “Marathon of Graphic Arts’ History” was lauched. Cultural Poster 06.05.2013The warmth and wealth of Armenian culture in Belarus. From April 20-May 5, in the land of green meadows and blue lakes, cultural days of Armenia were held.
