Festive Divine Liturgy was offered in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on the Feast of the Assumption and the ceremony of blessing the grapes took place. 
On the Feast of Assumption, many Syrian Armenians visited Holy Mother of God Church in Nork as pilgrims.
The Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God is also the pilgrimage day of Tegher Monastery.
