Members of the Youth Unions of the Aragatsotn Diocese Presented Their Observations and Ideas


After participating in the Liturgy and Blessing Order at the St. Sargis Monastery in Ushi, members of the Youth Unions of the Aragatsotn Diocese gathered at the Gulameryan Armenian Youth House in Ashtarak. Father Paren and Father Sargis spoke with the young people about the behavior of the saint who was martyred for the Christian faith. Under the leadership of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, a Holy and Immortal Liturgy was served in the Mother Cathedral of the Mother of God. The feast of Vardanants unites in its meaning the memory of the heroes who defended the homeland in all times.
 

Clergy and faithful prayed for detainees and captives in Aruch Church


The clergy of the Aragatsotn diocese, the nuns of the Ghazaravan monastery and the faithful prayed together in the Holy Mother of God Church of Aruch for the clergy and captives who are in prison. On the same day, it became known that the court replaced the detention of the Primate of the Aragatsotn diocese, Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, with house arrest. The defense team of Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan has sent the published videos to international experts, the results of which are almost the same: the videos have been processed, the sound and image do not match each other. According to him, the videos are fake, it is impossible to identify the people appearing in them. Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan has been in prison since December 4. He is accused of an article related to the sale of drugs, which the defense has described as absurd.

The son of the Zohrabyans, who hosted Father Hovsep Sargsyan, was killed during the Four-Day War. Salt, bread, and water were placed on the table in the hospitable house. Father Hovsep announced the news of the birth of Christ to the family members. With this ceremony, the family members and the goods of the house were blessed.
