On the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, Sports and the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Values, an annual training seminar on "Preservation and Restoration of Textiles of Historical Significance in Armenia" has been held in Armenia since 2014. Three halls have been turned into a museum in the Tatev monastery complex. In front of the entrance is the bell of the monastery, donated to Bishop Stepanos Orbelyan in 1304.
