At the night of March 21, 2014, the Armenian village Kesab situated on the Turkish-Syrian border, underwent a sudden attack. Overcome with panic, the population of Kesab left their houses to go to Latakia. Around three months later an announcement was made whereby the residents of Kesab might return their homes. What the returning citizens saw, was unexpected and a shock to them…
Karen Nazaryan, the Executive Director of Armenia Round Table Foundation, went to Syria - Kesab, Damascus, Latakia and Homs, to assess the situation and major needs on the spot and to provide assistance to the Syrian Armenians. He was accompanied by the Very Rev. Fr. Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Damascus.

In a meeting at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Chairman of the RA Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan spoke about the need for constitutional reforms. The meeting was attended by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, bishops and priests.
Under the decision made by the Primate of Ararat Patriarchal Diocese Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, for a whole one year, every 24th days of each month should be marked by some initiative to commemorate the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
It’s been ten years since the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Ministry of Education and Science, by the blessing of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, organize the contest “Best Subject Teacher”. This year, the republican phase of our contest was spent in Gevorkian Theological Seminary.

On June 23, under the presidency of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, a Supreme Spiritual Council meeting was held in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Conference of the Brotherhood held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin from June 15 to 21 issued an announcement.
On the eve of the Feast of the Universal Holy Church of Etchmiadzin, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Mother Cathedral.

On June 2, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast of St. Gregory the Illuminator’s Deliverance from the pit. The relic of the Illuminator was solemnly taken to the Monastery Complex and a festive Divine Liturgy was offered.
Feast of Deliverance from the Pit was celebrated in St. Gregory the Illuminator’s Church of Artik Penitentiary. Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin intends to make this day as a pilgrimage day across all penitentiaries.
On June 21, the crosses of the Church of Holy Savior were consecrated.

From June 16-23, sixth conference of the Brotherhood of the Mother See was convened at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. 75 priests from other Armenian Dioceses of the world and Patriarchal Sees of the Armenian Church were participating in the conference. The focus of the agenda was the commemoration of 100 years from the Armenian Genocide.
