On June 23, under the presidency of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, a Supreme Spiritual Council meeting was held in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Conference of the Brotherhood held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin from June 15 to 21 issued an announcement.
On the eve of the Feast of the Universal Holy Church of Etchmiadzin, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Mother Cathedral.
June 22 marks the Feast of the Universal Holy Church of Etchmiadzin.
On June 2, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast of St. Gregory the Illuminator’s Deliverance from the pit. The relic of the Illuminator was solemnly taken to the Monastery Complex and a festive Divine Liturgy was offered.
Feast of Deliverance from the Pit was celebrated in St. Gregory the Illuminator’s Church of Artik Penitentiary. Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin intends to make this day as a pilgrimage day across all penitentiaries.
On June 21, the crosses of the Church of Holy Savior were consecrated.
Under the presidency of Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Armenian Apostolic Church, The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the “MGA Water” company was signed.
