Feast of Presentation of St. Mary to the Church with the students of Gevorkian Theological Seminary
Every years, on November 21, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the feast of presentation of St. Mary to the Church. It bears the sacrament of presenting the first-born to the Lord. The feast was marked with a concert: the seminarians performed Armenian lullabies.

This year marks 145th anniversary of composer Alexander Spendiaryan
This year will mark the 145th anniversary of composer Alexander Spendiaryan. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Spendiaryan House Museum and the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet launched a series of joint events entitled “Our Spendiaryan”.

October 11 is celebrated in the Armenian Apostolic Church calendar as the Commemoration day of the Apostle Anania. He was one of the 72 disciples of Christ. On the commemoration day of the saint, the relic of Apostle Anania was brought to Zoravor Holy Mother of God Church in Yerevan.

On the Feast of the Holy Translators the miracle-working Gospel of Shukhonts was taken to St. Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan
On October 8, the Feast of Holy Translators, the miracle-working Gospel of Shukhonts was taken to St. Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan. The closing ceremony of the International Symposium organized in the Mother See, as well as annual “Kantegh” (Lantern) awards ceremony were also held in Oshakan.

Creative youth in St. Hripsime Monastery
On October 2, by the initiative of the Dean of Gevorkian Theological Seminary Rev. Fr. Garegin Hambardzumyan, an open class was convened at the backyard of St. Hripsime Monastery with the participation of the students from Khachatur Abovyan State Pedagogic University, State Academy of Fine Arts, State College of Fine Arts of Panos Terlemezyan and Gevorkian Theological Seminary.

Symposium on the 350th anniversary of the printed Bible to be held in the Mother See
This year marks the 350th anniversary of the first printed Armenian Bible. The International Conference “Armenian Translation of the Holy Bible and Its Publication in the Evolution of History” which will be held from October 6-8, is jointly organized by Gevorkian Theological Seminary and Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Library.
