Holy Communion: sharing of good /part 1/
The Holy Communion, which is given through the Liturgy, is the core of church ritual life, it is the heart. Through that ceremony, the saving work of our Lord with expressed humanity, public activities and sufferings become modern to us. Through bread and wine we become communicants of our Lord's body and blood according to his word. Why do we easily accept the mystical body and blood of the Lord, but live with great difficulty in the union of communication? Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

He who does not condemn is condemned
There is no sin that does not have consequences. The problem is who pays for the consequences.
When a woman caught in adultery is brought to Jesus Christ for condemnation, she does not condemn, then she will be accused of the same sin of breaking God's law. Fr. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

Life given from the cross
The church of Christ is founded on the cross. This has great significance and is related to the relationship between man and woman. When we look at the History of Creation, we see that the creation of man ends with the creation of the family and the woman is created. A woman is created from the rib of an earthly being. Therefore, here, the church, as a bride, is founded from the rib of Christ. This points to the two important sacraments of the church: the sacrament of baptism, by which we are reborn and become children of the church, and the sacrament of holy communion, by which we become communicants with the founder of the church, Jesus Christ. With what significant differences do the evangelists present the death of Jesus? Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

The cross of Jesus - a necessity?
God sent his son to convert humanity to the source of life, to the path of love. It is another matter that the world rejected this way and instead of enjoying justice, truth, love, chose the way of falsehood. In the trial of Jesus, how much falsehood is there, how much injustice is there, how much hatred is there and in return Jesus' forgiveness from the cross? God did not send his son to crucify, but to save the man he created. Could Jesus have avoided the death of the cross? Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

The miracle is a sign, the cross is glory
For Hovhannes the Evangelist, the event of the Exaltation is, on the one hand, the event of the foundation of the church, and on the other hand, the coming of the soul: it deposits the soul to the father, but at the same time distributes it to the world. For John, the event of the cross is the testimony of God's love and glorification. Why do witness evangelists present Christ's miracles as an event, and John the evangelist shows their theological explanation and purpose? Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

O woman, here is your sonJesus sees his glory and victory in the event of the cross. It is no coincidence that our church depicts the cross not as a sign of suffering and pain, but as a sign of life, a blossoming cross. The Mother of God is an example of life, how to bear the test and what kind of hope to have: resurrection and victory. Why did Christ never address the Virgin Mary as Mother. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this. |

Faith in fear
Knowing God is not an easy way. It is a life long experience. It becomes especially true when a person is going through a life crisis. That is where it is very clear whether you believe in God or not. Do you rely on the feeling that God doesn't have time for you, or doesn't exist? How do the sea and the storm obey Jesus? Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

Blind is he who hates his brotherWhich Jesus are we following? The Jesus who healed the sick, freed the demon-possessed from evil forces, multiplied bread, walked on water, or the Jesus who raised the cross in Jerusalem? There is a big difference in this approach, because we expect mighty works from God, but we run away from the path of the cross and try to create other gods. Meanwhile, each one of us must cross the road of our cross with our heads held high, with responsibility, having the faith that Jesus is our companion, because He Himself crossed that road. What difficulties can plague us in the case of spiritual and mental blindness? Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this. |

Are you following me? Don't look back!"
We have human relationships that become an obstacle for our spiritual life. Following Christ does not guarantee the solution of everyday problems. Death, mourning, calamities should not stop us from following the Lord. What are the conditions for following Christ, what does self-denial and taking up the cross mean? Archimandrite Ruben Zargaryan speaks on this.

Who will inherit the earth?
Respecting the motherland, the native land, means respecting the past life, it means respecting the present life, because that heritage is under our responsibility and care today. It also means respecting the life of the future, what we will leave behind. Is it only us, is it our generation, what will we give to the new generation? What does meekness have to do with the country's heritage? Archimandriye Ruben Zargarian speaks on this.

Voice of An unheeded call
The truth is bitter. Not every ear is capable of carrying the truth. Why did the prophets speak the truth even at the cost of their lives? The reason was that the prophets were not concerned about their own well-being or personal interest, but they were concerned about the country, society and the future of man. Today, is the prophetic voice heard and from which pulpit? Archimandrite Ruben Zargarian speaks on this.
