Writer Levon Khechoyan completed his life on Earth


On January 8, writer, Karabakh fighter Levon Khechoyan died of a long-lasting grave disease. His very first compilation of writings titled “Incense Trees” was published in 1991. These days his new novel “The Book of Mher’s Door” is concurrently in publication. Levon Khechoyan worked on this specific book for 15 years. On January 10, a Requiem Mass dedicated to the renowned intellectual was held in Yerevan Komitas Chamber Music House.

Korean musicians in Arabkir District Youth Center


On December 9, Korea-Silk Road International Festival Arirang was hosted by Arabkir District Youth Center. Around one year ago, the South Korean song Arirang was included in the list of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. “Kantegh” Choir of the Youth Center performed Arirang with Korean musicians and Armenian folk songs.
