Loving Children


Armen Armos Martirosyan and Sona Azaryan are successful specialists in their own sphere. Nevertheless, apart from their main work, they also direct their time, efforts and dedication to another occupation – charity initiatives for childres suffering from complicated diseases. Due to the Armen, Sona and a group of people supporting them, numerous children were able to win the unequal battle of life and death.

The doctors Armine Barkhudaryan, Hayk Hovhannisyan and Gevorg Voskanyan left for Sudan at the request of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative in order to make possible the visit of the 2017 Aurora Prize Finalist Tom Catena to Yerevan, Armenia.

Ավելի քան 13 դար է միջնադարյան ճարտարապետության գոհարներից մեկը` Հառիճավանքը դեպի իրեն է ձգում բազմաթիվ հավատացյալների: Հառիճավանքը նաև գիտության ու լուսավորության կենտրոն է եղել: Այստեղ ժամանակին գործել է Հառիճավանքի համանուն դպրոցը: Դարերի ընթացքում, սակայն, պատմական տարբեր իրադարձությունների պատճառով, ուսումնական կյանքն այստեղ մի քանի անգամ ընդհատվել է: Ամենայն հայոց հայրապետ Գարեգին Երկրորդի նախաձեռնությամբ 2012թ-ի սեպտեմբերից Հառիճավանքի ընծայարանը կրկին բացել է իր դռները, գործում է ավագ դպրոցի կարգավիճակով: Ընծայարանի վերականգնումն իրականացվում է Թրբանճյան ընտանիքի աջակցությամբ: Ի երախտագիտություն`  դպրոցը  բարերարների  անունով կոչվում է Հառիճավանքի Թրբանճյան ընծայարան:    

Ani Hovak


“If you don’t like your everyday road taking you to work, then you should change your job”. Ani, a musician by profession, started painting a few years ago and believes it’s a gift from God. She uses not traditional materials creating paintings and collages from seemingly useless items. For Ani Hovak, the path leading from music to painting and the opposite, is irreversible; she can’t imagine one without another. She manages to sing in St. Grigor Lusavorich Church choir, Hover Choir and also plays in Zangakner Ensemble.

Meeting Artavazd Peleshian


On July 28, a meeting with National Artist, film director Artavazd Peleshian was organized in Moscow Cinema. The Master of music, Tigran Mansuryan, spoke about the Master of cinema. The films authored by the film director “Natives”, “Seasons of the Year”, “End” and “Life” were screened during the meeting.

Tigran Tsitoghdzyan’s exhibition at Cafesjian Center for the Arts


The exhibition “Tigran Tsitoghdzyan: Mirrors” showcased six paintings featuring most recent compositions of the artist. Tigran Tsitoghdzyan lives and creates his compositions in New York. His works were not exhibited in his homeland for around twenty years.

The news on Tigran Hamasyan to present his “Luis i Luso” project in Zvartnots Temple, which was disseminated across social networks, raised big wave of enthusiasm especially for its free entrance. People arrived with big companies, families. Under the guidance of Harutyun Topikyan, the State Chamber Choir of Armenia performed for the audience.
