New Department set up in Gevorkian SeminaryA Department for Public Relations has been established at Gevorkian Theological Seminary of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The activities of the Department will focus on disseminating comprehensive information on the Seminary, meetings and direct interactions at educational institutions, publishing various booklets and manuals, media coverage, regional visits, strengthening of ties with Diaspora.

Official closing of academic year in Gevorkian Theological SeminaryThis year 32 students graduated from Gevorkian Theological Seminary, and 10 students from the Priest Auditorium. At the official closing ceremony of Gevorkian Theological Seminary the Patriarch of All Armenians exhorted them to be a deserved son of the Seminary, help others to empower their spiritual life.

Eurnekian Public School finalizes the academic yearEvery year, upon completion of academic year, all pupils who won the Best Pupil contest nominations are awarded with certificates of honor and presents. Apart from it, all allocations made by the benefactor for the pupils on annual basis, are deposited in Converse Bank to be received by them after graduation. Eduardo Eurnekian also supports the construction of new school building wing.

Divine Liturgy of the Brotherhood Pilgrimage in the Holy EtchmiadzinPrior to the Feast of the Universal Holy Church of Etchmiadzin, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Mother Cathedral. The Divile Liturgy was attended by a number of clergy serving in the near and remote Diocese of the Armenian Church, who arrived in the Holy Etchmiadzin on the occasion of the Brotherhood Conference.

It is also the Pilgrimage Day of Shoghakat Church. This year the Divine Liturgy was also attended by the clergy from various dioceses of the world arriving in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Two-day Inter-Church Consultations at the Mother SeeThe delegates of the Inter-Church meeting “Crisis in Syria: challenges for communities” convened at the Mother See participated in the ecumenical prayer, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, published the protocol of the meeting during the press conference and watched the concert of the Armenian Church Youth Center students. The same day, the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II had private conversations with the delegates of World Council of Churches and Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit, General Secretary of the WCC.

Martiros Hakobyan and Rev. Fr. Simeon Odabashyan, Vicar of the Diocese. Most of them visit Armenia for the first time.
