80 students admitted to the university are benefiting from the Armenian Apostolic Church's scholarship program


The Armenian Relief Fund of the Armenian Apostolic Church has been implementing educational and scientific programs since 1997. More than 80 percent of sponsored students work in their profession. The students are included in the volunteer programs of the FAR, they participate in picking apricots, they carry out translations, they visit the elderly.

The restoration of the Cathedral is complete


On September 29, the Cathedral of the Holy Etchmiadzin will be consecrated. It has been restored from the foundations to the cross of the dome. Holy Etchmiadzin is an extraordinary structure, it is not only the spiritual center of the Armenian people and the seat of the Armenian Apostolic Church, but also an exceptional monument of universal significance, which is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. A ballet with music by Charles Aznavour and Michel Legrand was presented


On the initiative of the "Ballet 2021" foundation, the ballets "La Bohème" and "Cherburgian Umbrellas" based on the music of Charles Aznavour and Michel Legrand were presented in the sports concert complex. The author of the script and the stage choreographer was the folk artist Rudolph Kharatyan. Blessing of Teachers in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

In the first half of the year, the main topic of the political agenda was the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and, in that context, the so-called peace agenda with its consequences.

The government proposed to replace the name of the subject "Armenian History" with "History of Armenians ". 
Individual representatives of the ruling power on various occasions questioned the meaning of the existence of the state. 
As a result of the establishment's policies, there may be a Republic of Armenia, but not an Armenian state. 
The Artsakh war obviously affected the national behavior of the Armenian society and its manifestations are tangible. 
The Armenian government continued to meet the demands of Azerbaijan, advancing the concessionary policy.
Immediately after the war, Azerbaijan, at the state level, started to destroy the Armenian traces in Artsakh.
After the war, the Society lost faith in its resources, as a result of which the consequences of defeat are more devastating.
After the forced deportation from Artsakh, our compatriots found themselves in the status of "familiar foreigners" in Armenia.
The main narrative of the political authorities after the war is that the events happening with Armenia are inevitable.
 

Faith in fear


Knowing God is not an easy way. It is a life long experience. It becomes especially true when a person is going through a life crisis. That is where it is very clear whether you believe in God or not. Do you rely on the feeling that God doesn't have time for you, or doesn't exist? How do the sea and the storm obey Jesus? Rev. Fr. Large-scale excavations are underway in the Spitak Vank complex of Lanjanist village


At the initiative of the Masyatsotn Diocese, the expedition of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography is carrying out excavations in the Spitak Vank complex of the village of Lanjanist. Short-term excavations were carried out here since 2021, but there is a need to carry out more large-scale excavations for the purpose of strengthening and restoring the monastery complex. The Spitak Monastery complex consists of the Holy Mother of God Church and adjacent auxiliary structures, the functional significance of which will become clear at the end of the excavations.
