An international online conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Shushi was organized in Artsakh in July 2020. The collection of reports was published in 2021 and the collection on the topic of THE GENOCIDE OF AZERBAIJAN sadly gained serious relevance. The collection was published under the auspices of the Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Germany. On December 25, on the feast of St. Stepanos Pre-Deacon, 19 students of the 5th audience of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary were ordained deacons in the Holy Mother of God Church of the Armavir Diocese. On this occasion, the deacons were received by the Patriarch of All Armenians.

On December 23 and 24, a two-day meeting of deacons serving in various structures of the Mother See was organized at the Writers' Creative House in Tsakhkadzor on the initiative of the Illuminator of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Bishop Mushegh Babayan. In the Kecharis monastery complex, after the evening service, the pre-holiday of St. Stepanos Nakhavka was celebrated. The relic-bearing Right of St. Stephen was brought from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to St. Gregory the Illuminator Mother Church in Kecharis for the first time. At the end of the service, His Holiness received the deacons at the Kotayk Diocese.
