Maghakyan thinks that today the same fate awaits the Armenian sanctuaries of Artsakh under the control of Azerbaijan. Repose of Souls Service in the Mother See and Yerablur Military Pantheon
On 13 September, the day following the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, a Memorial Divine Liturgy was celebrated in all Armenian churches. In St. Gayane Monastery at the conclusion of Divine Liturgy , the members of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin visited the Congregational Cemetery, the tomb of the recently deceased Father Maghakia.
On the same day, a Repose of Souls Servic was offered at the St. Vardanants Martyrs Church of Yerablur Memorial in Yerevan for tranquility of the martyred Armenian sons of blessed memory.

The "Barnabas" Foundation helps to neutralize the severe social consequences of the war
Father Patrick Sukhdeo, Director of the "Barnabas" Foundation for the Institute for the Study of Islam and Christianity, also conveyed his remarks during the International Conference on "Religious Freedom and Peace" at the Mother See. Post-war suicidal culture and the view of Our Holy Mother of Dadivank
The frescoes of Dadivank, Haghbat, Vorotnavank, Lmbatavank and a number of other churches have been restored during the last ten years thanks to Italian specialists Kristin Lamoure and Ara Zaryan. The body of Archimandrite Maghakia Amiryan was buried in the Congregational Cemetery of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The young clergy of the Mother See passed away on August 31 due to a coronavirus infection.
