Performance of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” operaBefore the yearend, the staging of “The Magic Flute” opera of the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will complete the list of program to be performed by A. Spendiaryan Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Before then, the concert performance of the opera was presented. The Symphonic Orchestra of the Opera Theatre was conducted by Swiss conductor Michael Vandenberg.

Romanos Melikyan FEST finalizedSince 2010, an Armenian Composers’ Art Festival is held in Armenia. It is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Armenia, Union of Composers and the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia. The concert which was to attach high value to the heritage of the Armenian composers’ school was supposed to take place in December, but it was delayed and eventually took place on January 23.

International seminar on the conservation of archaeological itemsThe international seminar held in Yerevan from January 15-21 is titled “Archaeological Study of Bronze” and “Preventive Conservation”.
