When completing his personal information, painter-animator Valentin Podpomogov would write: nationality – Russian, mother tongue – Armenian, education – incomplete, primary. Podpomogov worked in HayFilm Studio. In 50-ies, he screened “Mi Katil Meghr” (A drop of Honey), “Parvana”, “Puy-puy Mknik”, “Lur-da-Lur” cartoons. This year Valentin Podpomogov would turn 90.
