Fr. Nshan Panferov
“God lays a blessing with every child”. Father Nshan Panferov serves in St. Gregory the Illuminator Church of Gyumri, with all his family involved in the church service with him. His wife and younger daughter sing in the Church Choir, his son wears church garment. “Father Nshan manages to get people around him, make them happy, however he is very strict first of all to himself, and then to us”, - confesses the priest’s wife.

Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Church takes part in the solution of the issue of homeless people in Gyumri
27 years have passed since the earthquake of 1998, yet more than 4000 families live in wagons in Gyumri. These families urgently need social assistance. Shirak Diocese participates in that initiative to the extent possible.

Father Nerseh was born in Tiflis. After the graduation of Gevorkian Theological Seminary, he was appointed as the Director of the Mother See Museums, later on served as the Primate of Central and Northern Europe. His service in Haghartsin monastic complex was a turning point.
