
20 priests serving in different dioceses of Armenia with their wives and children hosted His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. A conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of poet, publicist Silva Kaputikyan was held on November 29 at the Garegin I Educational Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The only church in Jrarat, the 7th century St. Minas, was consecrated. The consecration was performed by the Primate of the Shirak Diocese Rev. Fr. Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan. The New Achievement is a 24-language collection of Nerses Shnorhali's "Confession of Faith", published in the Mekhitarist Congregation in 1837. The Matenadaran's comprehensive literature was supplemented with two donations. Beirut-Armenian Talin Marikian donated Narekatsi's "Book of Tragedy" in 1807, a Venetian edition. Thanks to the donation of the Honorary Doctor of NAS RA, Vrezh (Father Nerses High Priest) living in London, Nersesyan's Ethiopian, Arabic and Ottoman literature of the 17th-18th centuries is already the property of Matenadaran. Conference on the 225th anniversary of the publication of the first Armenian periodical "Azdarar" was held at the National Library of Armenia. November 27 was the jubilee award ceremony of the "Parliament" magazine. Five ministers of our church also received diplomas.
