Catholicos of Cilicia Aram I of the Great House meets with Pope Leo XIV

This is the first official visit of the Catholicos of Cilicia to the newly elected Pope. The Catholicos of Cilicia arrived in Rome on May 17. Among those who welcomed him was Archbishop Khajak Parsamian, the representative of the Catholicosate of All Armenians in the Vatican, who with his presence reaffirmed the spirit of unity, mutual respect and cooperation between the two Catholicosates of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
