The conference was chaired by the former Foreign Minister of the GDR Markus Meckel. The speakers presented the destruction, expropriation and appropriation of Armenian monuments that came under the control of Azerbaijan. The congregation also discussed ways to save Armenian Christian culture from the point of view of international law.
