Manuscript collection of the Mother See replenished with two more samples


Manuscript museum of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin had two new valuable additions. One of them is a 19th century amulet, the other one – 16th century collection of sharakans. Both manuscripts are from the Western Armenia.

A Jazz night had been organized in Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. Levon Malkhasyan handed jazz club association membership certificates to Armenian jazz musicians, including Alina Yengibaryan and Stepan Kojoyan - the director of the three largest jazz festivals of the Europe.

Excavations of Karmir Blur unfolded a new page on burial ritual in Urartu


2015-2016 saw largescale excavations of Karmir Blur (Teishebaini) in Yerevan. The archaeologists unearthed and excavated 281 toms. The head of expedition assure that this will undoubtedly elucidate a new page in the history of the Kingdom of Van.
