On March 10, Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians received the delegation of Pazmany Catholic University in Hungary headed by the Rector of University Szuromi Szabolcs in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Intellectual game-contest“4 Season, 4 Evangelist” brought 7 communities of Ararat Marz together. The priests and school teachers are also involved in this .

Six participants of the project “Masters Create Masters” performed with State Youth Orchestra


Another concert of the project “Masters Create Masters” established back in 2013 was held, which was launched by the Ministry of Culture. The project aimed at identification of musicians of 11-20 and enhance the interest to classic music.

A temporary exhibition entitled “Tolstoy in Life” was opened in Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum.   

Strauss music night in Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall


Conductor Dmitriy Yurovsky and soprano Lyubov Stuchevskaya were hosted by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia. Most part of the program comprised of compositions of Richard Strauss were performed in Armenia for the first time.   

Venice String Quartet was in Yerevan


On March 16, the Venice String Quartet was hosted in Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. Oboist Gianfranco Bortolato performed together with the Quartet. The concert was dedicated to the 25th of establishing Armenian-Italian diplomatic relations.
