Ruben Hakhverdyan – Abrupt Turn


State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, guitars Hakob Jaghatspanyan, Tigran Ayvazyan, Youth Choir. Even Ruben Hakhverdyan himself was quite excited to perform in such a composition. Hence, the title of the concert “Abrupt Turn” was not accidentally chosen.

National Academic Theatre Gabriel Sundukyan was renovated


A 7 million Euro agreement was signed between the RA Ministry of Culture and the Austrian consortium Vaagner-Biro with duration of 23 years. Due to this loan commitment by the Government, the National Academic Theatre Gabriel Sundukyan is fully ready to function.  

Newly consecrated priests during the fast


On October 23, the clergy of our Church was replenished with 9 newly consecrated priests. The fast designed for the new priest will end on December 4. That day they will offer their first Divine Liturgy. 

80th anniversary of Norayr Adalyan in Yerevan Youth Theatre

Premiere of Mrozek’s “The House on the Border” in Chamber Music Theatre


On October 28, the Chamber Music Theatre housed the premiere of the play authored by Polish playwright Slawomir Mrozek “The House on the Border”.  The stage director is Armen Margaryan.

Manuscript collection of the Mother See replenished with two more samples


Manuscript museum of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin had two new valuable additions. One of them is a 19th century amulet, the other one – 16th century collection of sharakans. Both manuscripts are from the Western Armenia.
