The foundation blessing of the church was performed in 1996 by His Holiness Karekin I, Catholicos of All Armenians. This is the first church, the foundations of which were laid after the collapse of the Soviet regime. The church was consecrated on May 3, 2000, by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. Every year in May, the community celebrates the anniversary of the consecration of the church. On May 2, at 10:00, a Holy and Immortal Liturgy will be served, at the end of which a festive event will be organized in the church yard.
