For seventeen years, the representatives of Detroit's Armenian community have been sponsoring and carrying out volunteer work in the regions of Armenia, completing the construction works of half-built houses. On June 18, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Catholicos of All Armenians, received the members of the community of St. Hovhannes Mkrtich Church of the Eastern Armenian Diocese of the USA in Detroit.
