Catholicos of All Armenians consecrated the first Armenian church built in Minsk

His Holiness named the newly built church after Saint Gregory the Illuminator. The Catholicos of All Armenians noted that the construction of the church was possible thanks to the benevolent attitude of the Belarusian authorities, which will bring new vitality to the national-ecclesiastical life of the community. His Holiness presented the newly consecrated temple with an icon depicting the Crucifixion. He awarded the benefactors of the church, Grants Maren and Vadim Avanesyan, with the high orders of honor of “Saint Nerses the Merciful,” and presented Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan, Primate of Russia and New Nakhijevan, with a plaque.
