The annual meeting of priests was held in Moscow

The congregation members noted with sorrow the illegal persecution and arrests of Armenians who raised their voices in defense of the Church. In their opinion, what is Armenian and national is today facing the task of destroying. At the end of the meeting, the clergy issued a joint statement, condemning: "The anti-communist, god-war, church-seizing and anti-church process of the RA authorities, the arrest of clergy on fabricated charges and deliberate discrediting."
