The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Strongly Condemns the Arrest of Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan

The Mother See has issued a statement demanding an immediate end to the illegal persecution of Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan and the remaining imprisoned clergy and the restoration of their violated rights. Holy Etchmiadzin considers the detention of high-ranking clergy on fabricated charges to be another manifestation of the authorities’ anti-church policy and hate speech against clergy.
