The evening service in the Mother Cathedral commemorated the burial of Christ
The ceremony in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin was presided over by the Catholicos of All Armenians. A solemn procession accompanied His Holiness. The symbolic tomb of Christ was taken out of the church.
