Intercessory service held at Moscow's Holy Transfiguration Church on the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

An intercessory service was held at Moscow's Holy Transfiguration Church under the leadership of the diocesan leader, Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan, with the prayerful presence of representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, Assyrian, Roman Catholic and other religious organizations. Representatives of the Russian Presidential Administration, diplomats accredited in the Russian Federation, Armenian intellectuals and national benefactors attended the ceremony. Russia officially recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide in 1995.
