His Holiness noted that the Aragatsotn Diocese has a special meaning and calling in the life of our Church and people. The remains of the greatest archpriest Saint Mesrop Mashtots are buried in the territory of this blessed diocese. The Catholicos of All Armenians emphasized that the spiritual servants of the Aragatsotn Diocese, brave workers of the Lord’s field, bring caring service to the faithful people in the Mesropian spirit and maintain their unwavering loyalty to church orders and canons and to the Holy Mother of God, Holy Etchmiadzin.
