According to Bishop Armash Nalbandyan, this trial is not only an attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of the church and religious freedom, but also a clear violation of the Constitution and law of the Republic of Armenia, because the powers of church governance and administrative authority belong exclusively to the Catholicos of All Armenians.
