On October 20, the pilgrimage of Love, Faith and Devotion was held with thousands of pilgrims from all Dioceses of Armenian Church, Artsakh and Diaspora, various non-governmental organizations, students from all higher educational institutions of Yerevan and soldiers. From the Freedom Square the pilgrims headed to the Republic Square and from there to the spiritual center Etchmiadzin, where a communal prayer was delivered. It was followed by the blessing and patriarchal message extended to the youth by the Patriarch of All Armenians.
Renovation of Haghartsin Monastery Complex commenced from 2008 are finalized. On October 19, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, the opening ceremony of the Haghartsin Monastery Complex was held. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hamid Dhiya Jafar, Personal Emissary of His Highness Sheikh of Sharjah, Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, with his wife, officials and diplomats from Armenia and UAE, a number of guests and believers.
