Iranian Poetry

Contemporary Iranian poetry is a rather unique and interesting phenomena. It reveals the modern culture of a country that is considered to be dictatorial, with the ideology and inner world of its people. Owing to the new translations, the works of modern Iranian poets are very much loved in Armenia too. What is nowadays the Iranian poetry like, how does it evolve and develop in the closed political and cultural system, how is it translated into Armenian?
