On September 21, on Independence Day, military pantheon Yerablur was visited by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan accompanied by the higher officials and participants of Armenia-Diaspora conference to pay tribute to those Armenians sacrificing their lives for the independence of their motherland.
After the visit they headed to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. A pontifical message was delivered to the 26th anniversary of the Armenian independence.
