A khachkar was erected in the village of Diliska in Akhalkalak for commemoration of the Armenian Genocide victims. On December 9, on the day the United Nations passed the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia performed blessing ceremony to commemorate the Unknown Soldier and the two cross-stones dedicated to the memory of Holy Martyrs.
