Churches are preparing to close the Altar curtains. Great Lent begins

On February 11, the Armenian Apostolic Church will celebrate the Boon Barekendan, which will herald the beginning of Great Lent. On that day, the tabernacle curtains will be closed in all churches and communion will not be given, except for a few holidays. During Lent, it is not recommended to perform a sacrificial ceremony and the sacrament of the holy crown is not encouraged, but a baptism ceremony can be performed.
